About these terms
These terms apply when you browse this website or buy from Hand Carpets. By placing an order you agree to them.
Products and prices
We describe and photograph our rugs as accurately as we can. Colours can look slightly different on different screens, and hand-made sizes can vary a little. Prices are shown in your chosen currency; if your payment has to be taken in Indian rupees, the checkout tells you before you pay.
Orders
Your order is confirmed when payment is verified (or, for cash on delivery and bank transfer, when we confirm it). We may cancel an order if an item is no longer available or a price was clearly shown in error; any payment is then refunded in full.
Wholesale and custom orders
Trade prices are available only to approved wholesale accounts. Custom rugs and quotations follow the price, size, making time and terms stated in the quote you accept.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law. Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, except where the law does not allow this limit.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
